The Russell Airport is a 1st Class facility. 4000 ft paved runway 17/35 and a 1900 ft grass strip 14/32. Runway lights are available for night use. Funding is ongoing for a GPS approach.
Runway 17/35 (asphalt) is maintained year round. Runway 14/32 (grass) is only maintained during the summer months.
